Tuesday is Intangible every first and third Tuesday of the month!

This Tuesday Intangible takes you to a very sweet, 5-day paradise with the Salon du Chocolat!

For the chocolate lovers among you, this is a yearly event not to miss. In fact, it’s the world’s largest event dedicated to chocolate and it takes place in Paris, at the end of October, since 1995.

This fair welcomes chocolatiers, pastry chefs, exhibitors, authors and artists (this year: 500 participants from 60 different countries) gathered to discover chocolat in all its forms and letting you taste – and purchase – world-renowned chocolate!

On this year’s program, among others, there were: live recipes, a parade of chocolate dresses, performances on rites and cultures of world countries like Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and many others. I particularly loved the chocolate sculptures from Belgium (Belgian Chocolate School), and tasted the Rhum and Chocolate Cookie (tradition of Nantes, France) by the Maison Larnicol. Yum!

The fair offers family-fun opportunities through workshops for adults and children,  presentations and book signing sessions as well as lectures and culinary photography, thus letting you learn about, and appreciate, the different takes on chocolate with a global perspective.

We had a lot of fun this year at the Salon du Chocolat! Make sure to look out for the next session in your city here.

Have a sweet Tuesday!
